Unfortunately, those test kits are terrible. They may give you a faint indication that something might be wrong, but it's not anything approaching what a Logan Labs soil test will tell you. Nor does it give any indication of how much material is required to correct the issue as it doesn't determine any information about the soil's exchange capacity.

Nitrogen testing is pretty much useless. My lawn and gardens will test as being low on nitrogen, and yet they very obviously aren't. The test only tells you available nitrogen, not what's processing into the soil. Plus nitrogen levels vary by the weather, time of day, and sometimes for no reason anybody can determine. For those soil tests that include nitrogen testing, I ignore it when I read the numbers.

Return it and get your money back. Put that toward the Logan Labs test. It will cost $25. They will email you the results. Then you copy those and post them here on this forum so morpheuspa can tell you exactly what to do.
