Kitchen coloring issue

I am planning a large kitchen space. I'm torn as to whether to do the entire project in one color of cabinetry or to break it up with two colors. If I'd go with one color, it would be a medium toned taupe-grey. If I add a second color it would be a very light almost white grey. IF I do the 2 tones, would it be best to just do the lighter color on the island, or on the island and one wall. Or would it be better to do the ligther color on the perimeter and do the darker color for the island (or island and other wall). The main perimeter wall has 2 windows and a sliding door and 2 chimney hoods, breaking up the upper cabinetry... but its also what you first see when you see the kitchen. The wall being considered for a second color is facing it, on an interior wall, and you would not see it until you are actually in the kitchen. Another option to consider is to do the islands and flanking the range in one color, with the rest another color. So many options and I cant decide what would look best!! HELP!
