This is a new bulb that I purchased several weeks ago when their prices dropped dramatically on some of their earlier offerings. She's an interesting flower, very green and the two scapes bloomed simultaneously each with 2 flowers giving the effect that one scape with 4 flowers would give.

The flowers aren't gorgeous by any means but they are unique due to their green color and with 4 flowers at once the effect is nice. I most likely won't do any hybridizing on her as she is rootless.

They look like a well selected intermediate between "Exotic Star" and "Giraffe" and they ARE gorgeous, I am apodictic on this occasion :)

Donna, did you get these blooms this quickly, from bulbs ordered just a few weeks ago? WOW.

Actually, I was thinking that it did remind me a bit of Giraffe, more green but the rust colored striped are a similar color. Thanks, glad you like it!☺ The longer it's out the more butterfly shape is showing, not much but more than in the pictures above.

Yes, I did get this just a few weeks ago and there were two stalks up about 2" that didn't receive any damage, lucky or what! Unfortunately this is not the norm for my other Konoriya bulbs...You loose fifteen and you win one!!☺☺

I agree with Hans on their resemblance to other "family members" :) To me it looks like the coloring of Giraffe and the shape of Exotic Star. Nice!
