Hello Houzz community!

We are finalizing our plans for a remodel of a one floor home converting to a 2 floor home. We are working with an architect, and this is what he/we have come up with together. We would love to get some feedback on the same.

Things we are trying to achieve :-
a) we have a nice backyard and were hoping to have as much living area open up or be accessible to the back yard
b) Have a good flow in the first floor

c) We need one bedroom and attached bath which can be used for guests as well on the first floor. One of our parents may be visiting, and we would like them to have privacy. The rest of the bedrooms (3 additional with 2 baths) would be on the second floor

d) note the stairs are going to be open with a large skylight on the roof to let natural light come into the living area

We would greatly appreciate some feedback on what the houzz community likes/dislikes about the design/flow, and any remedies.
