Wiring for chandeliers

Hi, Is that an engineered structural beam, solid or faux beam? How is the lighting wired through it? Did you wire down the side and then wrap the support beam? Thanks for any help, we are trying to figure our how to do just that with our new home! Very pretty by the way!

Hello! This is a faux box beam using 3/4" material. Wiring runs through the middle. Hope this helps! Enjoy your new home.

Can you share what type of wood the 3/4" material is and the stain used? Thanks!

The 3/4" material is sugar pine and the stain is called Smokey Mountain. Thank you for you question!
