Cement tile

Hi,
Love your kitchen! I received my sample of the Cluny tile today....I am in love with it and so excited to use it for my backsplash in my newly renovated kitchen. My one dilemma is that the background color is more of an offwhite cream color and not a true white. I don't think it will matter that much with my white cabinets and aqua colored island, just wanted to ask if yours are also a cream background? If so, it looks fantastic and only hope that mine turn out as well as yours did!

Is the pattern of the Cluny cement tile black? Or a blue/green/black? It's gorgeous! How is it to seal and maintain? I'm looking at this, too, with the Benjamin Moore Dark Pewter. Thanks!

I absolutely love the way my cluny backsplash turned out! I have it with absolute black leathered granite and white shaker style cabinets on the surround. My island is very large painted Biscayne (an aqua color) with a butcher block top. The cluny was the perfect finishing touch to pull it all together. Best decision ever. To answer your question I say it is black and white. No green. My tile guy sealed ours before it went up and I sealed it again after it was up. Very easy process. So far so good. Have been rather careful when cooking with grease and so forth, but definitely a kitchen for actually cooking! Good luck with your decision!

The background is slightly more off white than pure white. Shouldn't be a problem. It's such a gorgeous pattern! Glad you're happy with it!
