Is this normal for a sapodilla tree?

We just bought a sapodilla tree and it's been in the ground for 2 weeks or so. The weather here in Los Angeles hasn't been too bad. When we put the tree in all we added was some potting soil mix to the native soil and watered it with super thrive. It gets plenty of sun also but I noticed these marks on the leaves and wanted to know if this is normal. Can someone please help?

Looks like sunburn. I'd try to give it a bit more shade until it adapts.

I can't tell how tall the plant is from the photo. Are you able to use a Beach umbrella of some type or a Shade Sail?

A sapodilla tree is very easy to grow in South Florida. It grows very tall. I made a mistake and never pruned it. It is a tree that requires little care. Also bears a lot of fruit. Just watch out for squirrels. They love the fruit.
