Tricky guest room!

We have a guestroom that's 9' x 13'. On one short side are two closets, and the door at that corner makes thing additionally challenging. My parents come to stay a lot, and their requirements are the following:

-a sizable dresser

-a queen bed with room to walk on both sides

-two nightstands, one on each side of the bed

-a desk for work--with room to pull out the chair comfortably, of course!

With some creative problem-solving, I've figured out how to make this work and NOT make the room feel insanely tiny. In fact, I may be able to get MORE desk area than they need (note: when not being used by guests, the desk is often used for homeschooling, so the desk needs to support two chairs side-by-side) and maybe even an extra reading chair!

An additional challenge are the windows. Though they make the room very bright, they make it feel even smaller because they're so high up on the wall.

Stay tuned for updates. :)
