Materials and color for siding and roofing

I am in the middle of making some decisions on roofing and cedar impressions color choices. My house is a 3 story
Victorian without a porch. At the moment my house is white and window trim is hunter green. I have a lot of greenery all around my house so I would like it to appeal to that. I would like to use the scallop roofing but really don't like the color choices except the green and my neighbors on both sides of me have the green scallop roof. Some insight would be appreciated on this project.

Think in terms of a more neutral roof to increase your options on the other finishes. This might be more important than having scallops.

Who needs scallop! These accent tiles elevate any Victorian roof with just plain shingles. The last set of shingles are clay tile - I know- chaching!

Don't worry about roof if you can add period wood trim to keep eye on facade and not roof. Would like to see pictures too!
