All the whining I did about the 200+ bulbs I planted last Fall and hadn't seen a hair of any of them yet - well, today they are there alright! Gosh, I was SO glad to see the green/purple tips which are appx 2" high. I was out gathering up branches, twigs, and cutting back some things I didn't cut back in the Fall. And while I had the pruners I trimmed the dead branches and tips off the ancient Service Berry. Then figured I'd go down through the privet arch and to my delight saw the Chiondoxia (Blue Stars).

Then I decided, what the heck, I'll check for the new daffs again for like the 10th. time and lo and behold at least six to eight are just now coming up. I had planted way more than that in that spot but I'm happy anyway.

So, patience is the key. lol It's still chilly here today tho despite the sunshine. The ground is wet and cold.
