This is a modular, sustainable product that comes in 19 x 19 inch squares, if something is spilled, no problem, you can pick up and take right to the sink to wash off, I use it often for young families. There are knock offs of this product; however, the backing is quite heavy and is made to keep the squares in place...I haven't found a product that compares to the Flor quality.
