Around here, the packs of fresh herbs at the grocery stores range from $2-3, for probably much less than you're packaging. The question is--will the people attending want that quantity? To me (if my plants weren't available) it would be a no brainer, but I speak fluent foodie.

That's why I'm only taking 6 bags of it. This should be a big sale. It's the annual local virtual yard sale--yard sale. They can always dry the excess.

Stuff those bags with mite free cuttings.......maybe you'll sell out. Or sell smaller amounts for $1.00. I can see you selling many packages of just a couple of tender clippings.

rhizo, that's a good idea. I have lots of those snack ziploc bags.

You can also sell plant starts or pots at the yard sale. My mom did that once, when I thought the people would only be interested in non-plant things, and all the plants were gone by the mid-day.

I did that last year. They sold quickly.

I didn't go. I had to take my cat to the vet. My hubby went there to shop and said it was a flop. The chance of rain was high and I guess people cancelled. It never did rain. I'm hoping to do a yard sale at the Moose Lodge on the 1st of May.
