The problem is that these pictures I only have them in 3.5 X 5 so I was thinking of putting them in a 4X6 frame.

If you painted the frames a light purple, that could tie in nicely to your existing color scheme (similar to the light purple on your shower curtain).

I was kind of thinking of that a light purple would be nice.

My problem is that these pictures were taken at a studio and so I can't make a reprint.

You wouldn't have to frame them. Find out what sizes are available and then go back to your original idea of hanging paper see what fits. You may want to have two different sizes, as the collage wall that I originally posted or not. If this intimidates you, just repost a picture with your new configuration for feedback!

Use a combination of both frame styles. Keep them white or add a few details (line, outlines, dots) in the color of the wooden texture seen around the space in your photo. I agree with "hatetoshop". If you cannot enlarge the photos, use large mats. I like simple frames. But the bath photos are a darling idea!

Just remember steam (if there is an issue) will deteriorate things over time. Not trying to be a killjoy just don't use original photos. Have fun with this cute idea.

made some calls today and in order to scan my 3.5 X 5 pictures I can only go as big as a 5X7 and that would cost me each $35. Not sure if that is worth it. What should I do?

Put your 3x5 ppictures in larger frames with mats. It's more modern and draws the eye to the subject.

would you do 4 of the same frames or all white frames but different?

Would you stick with the bath pictures with bigger frames and mats or random pictures of my kids that I took?

Actually my kids love their pictures in the bathroom. Thought hey are still 9 years old and under.
