I think it is close to the colour that looks right, you could do a tan.

I'd have to try a gray. To pull that color from your counter out and break up some of the golds.

I'd have to agree with grey.as long as it goes to the darker shade that blends in with cupboards. Another choice may be a deep brown with a tiny border tile with grey brown hint of red tiles mixed. Either grey or brown paint just thinking as typing.

The more I look at it I think grey is your best bet .get those sample cards out and look at the difference day and night .Good luck.

I'd try a greenish grey - BM Camafloge Green comes to mind

A darker color would be a nice contrast to the lighter floor, cabinets and countertops.
