You were wise to avoid yellow, which would have clashed with the brick. If you weren't married to the idea of the navy, I might have suggested something in a teal.

I love teal, so you don't think it would be too much? I just bought the sample of Hale Navy but I am open to any suggestion would I do shutters in this color as well?

Can your windows be painted? Can't really see the detail behind the shrubs, but assume since the shutters are so long there is an apron below. Your shutters are just faux stick-on decorative ones and don't function, so I'd be tempted to remove them and beef up window trim and apron to match the entry trim, painting it to match the posts. Then pop the door with color. If you like shutters, you need larger ones that look like they could close and cover the window. Here's an article about shutters you might want to read.
