My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

What stain is on the railing and newel?

    Hi, It was a custom mix of black Benjamin Moore paints. I worked with the painter on site with a few different ideas and samples until we achieved this look. Sorry, it wasn't just a straight forward answer. I'm glad you like it though. You could try Minwax Ebony and Jacobean and mix them for a similar look. Just a thought.

      They are blackened metal. The handrail and newel post are painted.

      They are from a catalog for stairs. The contractor Dan Shanks of Shanks Engineering and Construction has the full specifications. Thank you.
