Any change as far as your top 3 plants' growth goes? Or is "Big Beef" still leading the pack?

That's awesome. We had an entire day of down-pouring rain and my tomato bed was badly flooded. I was impressed how well the Brandy Boy handled having its roots underwater for most of Sunday. My KBX's and Beefsteaks were not as resilient. Although they survived, they don't look happy at all. Thankfully not supposed to be much rain over the next week.

My two Big Beef are also huge with many flowers.

OP, are you Big Beefs the hybrid or the Open Pollinated variety?

My Big Beef are the hybrids from Ferry Morse. Someone on this board is growing both for comparison and if there is no difference I will switch to OP for next season as I enjoy collecting the seeds. Sey was it you?

Yes, Vince . I am growing one of each, OP and hybrid. I am going to document . . I planted them out in the same bed , the same day.

I'll be keeping tabs on your results. Two or three of each would have been more definitive but I know you have only so much garden space for such experiments. I say this because when I planted my two Siletz side by side last year, one great the other only about 5 total tomatoes. Good luck.

I am also growing both Vince. Will let you know how it goes.

Will probably plant out 3 or 4 of the hybrids and 1 or 2 of the OP. I grew the OP last year and didn't like it very much at all. I will give it one more shot and compare it to the real thing.
