Hi Alexey, thanks for the question. The answer is... sometimes. In Eastern WA, we do typically use edging (whether it be black plastic, metal, or concrete curbing). However, in Western WA, we have found that edging tends to hold water and cause drainage problems. So, we typically do not install edging in wet climates like Western WA. The clean edge of the lawn is maintained by our clients' lawn service companies or with an edger on a weekly basis.

Thank you for your quick reply! also, do you seal your stone / landscaping rocks?

Alexey, we don't recommend sealing rocks or pavers actually. Sealing pavers will enhance the colors, but it also begins a never-ending loop of maintenance (seal, strip, seal, strip, etc.). We like to leave our pavers un-sealed. That being said, we do wet-down the pavers and rocks for our photography :)
