If you take out the tub, you could move the shower to the space where it used to be. Then, increase the size of your vanity and slide it down the wall where the shower used to be plus half the space where the vanity is located now. Then, put in a tall cabinet across from the toilet to store towels, toilet paper, bottles of shampoo, packages of soap, etc.

I would change the incoming door into the bathroom into a pocket door to stop the conflict with the toilet room door. How large is your toilet room? I would make it roomy. Although I am far away from thinking about aging in place, I had unexpected hip surgery and had crutches for weeks. It was great that my master bathroom was an open floor plan.

I worry about the vanity space in the dressing area. Will you actually sit there? Will there be enough room for someone to pass behind you - to get into the closet or bathroom? And the wardrobe cabinets on either side dont look deep enough for use as a hanging wardrobe. Maybe linens and other bathroom supplies. Or shelving for clothes shoes would be OK.

Wow thanks for all the quick comments. Ok so remove tub insert shower. Kick down the sinks and maybe add a little utility closet across from Toilet. And add a pocket door. Let me look at that.

The dressing area might change a little. I am picturing all wardrobes along the right side. Not sure the vanity will be needed.
