Why there is a such drastic mismatch on the veneer?

The veneer looks mismatch the grain every two or three door? Why you haven't select the veneer and book match the the kitchen doors?

The door looks a 2nd category of pre made veneer panels not for expose use. The doors should be done from scratch.

    Unless it is a laminate that is printed, real wood cabinets will always have variations, that's the beauty of it. They also didn't take the cheap way out and run a panel horizontally on the front of the island. keeping all of the direction of the grain running vertically also makes the ceiling visually appear higher.

    Beautiful Job! Adds nice warmth to what could be a cold space otherwise. Paul
