Moving bulbs

There is a possibility that within a few weeks I might have to dig up several dozen bulbs (iris and gladiolus). Is there a proper way to store them until they can be put back in the ground (roughly six months from now)? Or do I need to dig them up and put them in temporary pots?

I just put mine back in ground or you can store in a cool dry place until fall, but that makes 2 jobs instead of one. Are you going to trade any?

Sheesh, my post isn't here.

The glads should go in pots as their growth season is starting.

What kind of iris?
