From dark and dated to bright and beautiful! This kitchen remodel included knocking out the wall between the kitchen and the living room, creating a much more open and inviting space.

joy5390,,,Having done a few of these, I'm going to wager a guess, ballpark 40-50K. Based upon what I can see,,,,Completely new wood flooring throughout (that's probably 6-8K right there), upgraded appliances (Is that a Viking range??? If so, tack on another 5-8K), installing a new header beam to span the new opening, custom cabinets (they don't look like pre-fab), custom granite slabs, new recessed lighting, contractor fees and labor fees for all the new construction, drywall, painting, electrical, plumbing, etc.... Now, if they were able to do a lot of work themselves, then subtract 15-20K. In fact, my ballpark may be a tad low! lol

This is amazing! So. . . My momma always taught me not to talk about money, BUT if we were to insinuate a ball park figure, what would that be? :-) Of course, only with the approval of the homeowner.

Stunning transformation. I'm going to wager more like $70-$80K cost for the homeowner. Knocking down that huge wall and replacing that huge expanse of flooring is big one, plus those appliances..everything done was big...and worth it!
