Reviews of subzero integrated 36" over/under refrigerator/freezer

I love the look of the 36" subzero integrated refrigerator/freezer with the drawers on the bottom, but the cu. ft. of storage seems really small. Does anyone have experience with this unit? I have room for the 48" built in which has a lot more interior space, but doesn't look as nice. The integrated towers pose the same space problem. I don't have enough linear space to get the same interior cubic space as the 48" built in. Thoughts?

I have seen a mixture, with maybe a little more on the integrated side. Although, I have seen built ins be used in an integrated fashion and look very good. The integrated models came out to give you more options of having a fridge in one section and the freezer in another while the built ins were in one specific spot. I have also seen a combination of both being used but it requires more space and I believe you said you couldn't go more than 48".

Hi Maribill1417, have you looked at their built in 42" French door? It does come panel ready so you can still hide it in the cabinetry and get a bigger interior than the 36".

Thanks for the input. It's really integrated vs built in. I see that you are a pro. Are you finding integrated models to be a bigger trend?

What is the difference between integrated and built in? I am making selection soon, so I need to understand!

Integrated and built in are not the same thing. This may be the best explanation I have seen as it has pictures.

We have the built in sz 36" and it is wonderful. I do like the look of the integrated, but think it's a little smaller.

I have the freezer on bottom. Though I like it better than side by side. I wished I had gone bigger. It's just not enough space.

Thanks for the replies. I am going with the built in, french door, freezer on bottom. I think it's bigger than the integrated. Also, the integrated has the compressor on the bottom, so it makes it way too tall for me (I'm 5'2"), which is why Im not going with Thermador or Liebherr.

I HAVE A SAMSUMG REFRIGERATOR WITH FREEZER ON BOTTOM. IF ANYONE COULD HELP PLEASE. ALL FOOD IN TOP SPOILING BECAUSE IT STOP GETTING COLD. FREEZER WORKS FINE, BUT NOT REFRIGERATOR PART. ALL COMMENTS ARE WELCOME.
