we have hard city water. 25 grains. we have softener. our kitchen sink has cold hard water. i have a carbon filter on line in utility room that feeds kitchen. too bad the filter housing leaks. i am thinking of removing it. and hooking up soft cold water to kitchen. do most folks have no issues with drinking soft water? i actually dont like it in our bathroom so i rarely get a drink there. maybe i should just fix the kitchen filter and continue to drink cold hard water there?
