well you have a sea of beige and brown. that is, your walls and everything appears to be beige except for the brown sofa set.

you should look on overstock.com for rugs.

you need to know what size rugs that you want.

also, I would suggest that you wait on the rug until after you have the sectional.

I would check to make sure that you have enough space for the sectional.

Thanks Kelley. Yes, we have WAY too much brown. I'm hoping the grey sectional we have picked out will break up a lot of the beige. Our living room is very small but the sectional we have chosen will fit. I'm also hoping the new darker wood floors will give some depth to the room. I'm hoping to bring color in with rugs, pillows and artwork but I get rather paralyzed with all of the options to choose from on Overstock and Wayfair. Any ideas would be great. I don't want matching rugs in the living and dining rooms but I do want them to coordinate. I really like the color blue but my husband likes green. Is it going to be color overload to have beige, blue, green and grey in one room?

If you know which sofa you're getting wait until it is delivered before you start trying to buy rugs. You will want to see the sofa in place to decide how big the rug should be and what colors will work with it. Certainly start looking now to get ideas but don't buy until you can see your sofa and the rug together in the room.

A small room often works better with a standard sofa and two chairs (not the same fabric as the sofa). You at least have options on how to place the furniture and a sectional is often overpowering for a small room.
