Please help...my leathered absolute black granite countertops were installed yesterday. I was so nervous about the wood countertop on the island and was relieved that it turned out beautifully.....but the leathered ab black granite is a disaster. It is all splotchy with what looks like grease spots or something. It looks horrible and I don't know what to do? It is the same in both the kitchen and the laundry room. Can this be fixed or are we talking about a complete replacement? It's not just fingerprints, I have tried to smear it up with my fingerprints to see if that is what people were talking about with the leathered, but my fingerprints don't leave any lingering marks at all, so that is not what I am seeing. Has anyone experienced anything similar??
