Need help figuring out what kind of window treatment to do in kitchen area and family room. All the rooms are visible from the other and I would like it to flow! I'm trying to emulate the amazingly talented Martha O Hara. The rooms face a very large bright garden. I like the idea of solar shades but at night when it's dark outside will they offer enough privacy. I love the idea of drapes in family but it would be a lot if fabric..
