That would be a cool thing to do! If anyone knows how or figures it out I hope they share....

The latest posts do bump that thread back up to the top again, but it takes a "couple minutes" for it to happen here on houzz--it's not instantaneous like it was on iV. There IS still the problem that posts that haven't been answered don't stay on top till they get an answer. Hopefully they'll get that fixed at some point!

But just have "patience" with the "latest post" thing, and you'll notice that they DO get back to the top after a minute or two.

Thanks Skybird, but I meant within the thread itself. It's kind of a pain to have to scroll to the bottom, especially on the longer threads.

Oops! Misunderstood you! No, you can't do that, but having the most recent reply on the bottom is the way it's always been on GW, and, from what I've seen on other forums (mostly from when I'm searching for something and wind up on a forum in the search results), is the way it is on other forums too.

I don't know if this is possible in all browsers, but I have my preferences set so when I click on the very bottom of the scroll bar on the right, I go instantly all the way to the bottom of the window without needing to "scroll" all the way down. That works in Firefox and Safari, don't know about IE, Opera, etc. But if you can do it, it's really quick to get "wherever you want to be" on a page. That might help you. Check your browser preferences (don't remember what it's called on a PC!)
