I think your wall color is actually just fine. It's neutral, and while I'm sure someone will suggest grey, the warmth of the cabinets really needs some warmth in the walls too. The floors are actually reading a little older to me, but that could be easily remedied with some interesting rugs (etc) that are more your style.

Get the furniture first. This is the more expensive investment and where your taste and style will shine. There are thousands of different paint colors and if you don't like those they will match what ever you bring in.
