Other. It looks nice in some people's homes, but I don't have enough space or entertain enough for it to make sense in mine (I drink only wine). It would just gather dust.

I think the ultimate is a Radio Bar. They were popular during prohibition for "hiding" the liquor. I'm looking for one for myself to restore. If you want one and can't find it, I'd be happy to build one for you.

Not a bar cart, but a foldable serving cart is one of the hardest working items in my house during every party or gathering.

We turned the dining room/ china closet into a bar. Prior we used a two tier side table. Keeping guests in the social space and not cornered into the kitchen is key. (We've also used folding occasional tables.)

Bar carts look great with mid century modern design and are less imposing than cabinets or counters in smaller spaces.

One member in our family has one with a electric kettle on it in their living room, it saves them getting up and going to the kitchen, so it is really handy to have. I have the same but on a tray in my room for when I need it.

Love it- - I think they are clever and it allows you to accessorize & decorate an additional spot- - however- -it would depend on who lives in your house- - kids- -not super practical- or teens-
