Cabinet ordering

In ordering a similar cabinet layout, would I order a roughly 30" tall cabinet, and then an additional 12" tall cabinet to sit on top?

    Get some help. Bottom cabinets are typically 34.5 inches high and 24 inches deep. Top cabinets can range many heights depending on your ceiling and desired finish look. Typical wall cabinets start at 54 inches up the wall. Typical wall cabinets are 30, 36 or 42 inches high. You can customize depending on the desired finish look. Typical wall cabinet depth is 12 inches, unless above a fridge or cooktop.
