Hi all, I'm working on a container garden project in a courtyard that gets no direct sunlight but is somewhat bright (a hydrangea has done well enough there for some years with moderate neglect and even flowered with some tlc). I'd like to add vines to some of the containers and I thought maybe pothos could be a candidate? My only worry is the cold - although the courtyard gets 0 wind, winters in Paris can be very cold. Would the plant survive? Would there be anything i can do to protect it from the cold?

Other options are ipomea or common ivy (not sure if the former will do well in full shade), but i wanted to see if we could try something a little different.
