    Barcelona chairs would be great.

That's a nice room! I think @sieglerdesign gave some nice examples of the green/torquise colored chairs. "Kid friendly"? Nothing nice is designed for abuse--the key is teaching kids at an early age to respect the home (no eating, playing, coloring, etc.) on furniture.

Thanks everyone. The rug i got from wayfair, really like the quality and half the price of similar ones i saw at pottery barn. It is by safavier.

I love your wall color. Please I would want to know the color and maker. Thanks

Стулья или кресла под цвет ковра, древесина - белая патина, тогда будет выделен диван, а стулья или кресла "растворятся".

Beautiful room. Fabulous painting. Wondering if your white marble coffee table top would look better in black or dark gray? It seems almost too white with the warmer white in the rug.

I'd pick up the blue in the picture and add some olive green pillows. LOVE your painting btw. I agree with lee lee that the marble coffee table gets a bit lost on the rug. I'd go with something a bit larger…and darker too. Great room!

    Where is your sectional from?

The room, based on photo looks long and narrow......so scale and proportions becomes very important. A pair of small casual contemporary accent chairs in leather, per photo above, could work very nicely! Good luck...EBK

Hi!! I´ve seen beautiful chairs on discounted prices at ruelala.com and also at gilt.com, you might find something there... please post the finished result. Good luck!!

This is a lovely room. Pull out a color in the painting, and use a medium to small print for chair fabric. If you are getting custom, get extra fabric to make one or two matching throw pillows for the sofa. A word as to scale. I once had a long, low sectional like this one and bought a recliner which I thought would be a good fit. When I got it home I realized how huge and tall it was compared to the sofa. Try to get a chair with about the same seating height as the sofa so it doesn't look way out of proportion.

mauve has gone well with gray for quite a while... I would suggest mauve color bean bag chairs which are REALLY kid friendly!!!

Nice room. But I would get rid of the flimsy pillows on the sofa.

Excellent choices in your room, Olive green! I love the light you chose. Second the idea of teal/turquoise chairs, and different pillows. Lovely!

The blue chairs are a good choice, but don't forget colorful pillows on the sofa .

    like the arrangements

Wow! Love Siegler's choice of the teal Room and Board chair for this room. Beautiful room. Your artwork sings!
What a gorgeous room!! I love the teal chairs suggested by Seigler. I can't wait to see the finished room! I've bookmarked this dilemma and just keep coming back to it to stare at your amazing painting. If it's not asking too much, maybe you can share where you found it?

Well, for my kid-friendly chairs, I chose vanilla leather rocker recliners...oversized so we could cuddle. For a dash of color, I use a throw. I, personally, am not a fan of a lot of pillows. They end up everywhere and usually are not that comfortable.

I too love your room....especially the colors and the artwork! Would you mind sharing the color on your walls as well as the source for the artwork? I'd so much appreciate it.

I also hope to see the progress of your room and find out what chairs you selected. I agree with the others that Siegler proposed the perfect chairs for you! :-)

Like the wall color. What is it ?
    Don't forget about comfort!

Deep blue or red for punch of color!

    Hello Olive Green,

The sofa, rug and wall picture look lovely. I was wondering what the dimensions of the sofa were and what type of fabric it's made of? Is it custom made? I have been looking for a gray sectional sofa and have not seen one like this. Thank you and post pictures when you have finished.

Beautiful space! For the additional seating I'd suggest a teal/dark turquoise as well - I think you've got some really great specific options already from decoenthusiaste and sieglerdesign!

I'd like to see a little graphic interest and pattern in the room via some additional pillows and a throw.

I also agree with the comments regarding the fan.

    Best of luck!

Hi. Checking in - partly done? :)

I was going to ask where you got the art but it looks like someone beat me to it. Tell your friend if that were available reproduced I would buy it in a heartbeat! Gorgeous!

What a beautiful room. I have a similar color sectional and looking to repaint room. What color are your walls?

Hi olive green, followed your dilemma for a while there.....really like your room before and now with your finishing touches.

Where did you end up getting your chair? It's very pretty and works well in your space. Looks comfy too!

Wayfair, tony armchair. There are two of them in the room, just hard to take a good picture.
I've been following also. Love your new chairs! Actually, I love the entire room. It looks so inviting and comfortable. Great job!
    Thank you!

Thanks for the reply Olive....and for your update, too. How do you like the room? IMO that's what's important!

I purchased these 2 unique wood chairs for the office, but now I think the office is too "woodsy". My husband doesn't agree. Any suggestions?

Kendra - you need to post your own dilemma instead of posting within someone else's. Find the "Ask" tab.

So sorry!!! I thought I was on the "ask tab". Thanks Karen!
