Paint color depends largely on your style and what you want the mood of the room to be. You could go several different directions. Do you want the room to be lighter, moodier, bold, neutral, etc.?

Do not go grey as someone already posted. It looks like most things in the rooms are brown. Is that correct?[

Do the painting last. Think about what colors you like for an area rug

Pick up a folder of all different shades of whites at your paint store. Bring it home to study which shades you like the best.

Choose an area rug 1st. It will be the foundation of your rooms. Pick one which most of the furniture will fit on (start on dining room). Make sure the rug will fit under the table with all leaves in it & when you pull out the chairs. Go to Ikea to look at their rugs. also Overstock .com. I'm sorry I see your table is glass (it won't have leaves). Sorry. I think a great color to start with would be shades of blues, teals, reds or golds. Look at dhurries, ikat, kilim or Oriental & Persians. They will have colors which should go with almost anything.

After choosing a rug, look at drapes at Ikea for grommet top to install from just below the ceiling down to the floor. Theirs are the best buy for the money. good quality. They sell by the pair not by the panel as other stores do.

Also look at some art at ART.com just for inspiration on colors for your rooms. Not that you will need to buy any but it's a good place to find color inspiration. Also look at Great Big Canvas com for their art too.

Try to avoid buying anything more in brown since you already have so much. If I am wrong about what color you have in your rooms, let me know. My PC does not always give me a true reading on colors.

I think black/ brown. Green or off white might be what you want.
