I think it will depend on the kind of leather. If it's the kind that scratches easily, then I would say leather may not be a good idea. But if it's not that kind, then I think leather is a fantastic idea! I did a leather glider in my son's room for when he was born. Do you know how many times he spit up in that thing, and all I had to do was wipe it with a wet cloth? That was one of my best decisions for his room. We still have that glider, and he's 6 years old now. It's in excellent condition.
