I'm guessing you meant Revere Pewter which is a very nice warmish gray. Edgecomb Gray is another option on the warm side.

You might ask the designer about a greige, such as Ben Moore's Winds Breath.

a cool pewter grey would be perfect. it would really make all that warm wood pop. I suggest you go and buy an itty bitty ammount and just paint one wall. live with it for a week and see how you feel about it. if you still hate it you can try a French blue or another shade of cool blue. just remember to stay away from warm tones because that will just look bad with all that wood.

I posted a very similar question a few weeks ago! We also have yellow walls, which I actually like, but we hired a stylist to suggest paint colors for a couple bedrooms and while she was at it, suggested we paint all the yellow a greenish gray (BM Gray Cashmere). Anyway, after much debate and a long list of comments on Houzz, I ultimately decided I too am NOT a gray person and am sticking with my yellow walls! So I guess my vote is to not do gray if you don't like it. Most of the paint company websites have a feature where you can upload your picture and virtually paint the walls. You can try that to visualize what different colors would look like. It definitely helped me in confirming that I prefer sunny walls over cloudy ones.

I agree with other comments...don't use gray if you really dislike it.

I like the slightly peachy yellow on the walls now, as per my computer. You might try something just a bit brighter for a fresher look. Your floors and china cabinet will go with almost any pastel, and the yellow tones in the wall color go so well with your hardwood floor.

Hi Domenica: I have used SW Blonde many times in clients homes and it is lovely. Lighting is very important when choosing a color. It is hard to tell what's going on in the rest of the room or adjoining rooms as well as natural light, any more photos?? Is this a new home or where she has been living? The posted photos by 2 others with the grey are lovely, but they have white trim and furnishings or light-in-weight furnishings and lots of natural light. Have you thought of just having a designer in to see everything with a fresh eye? Maybe just rearrange some art and furniture? Change out window treatments or new lights? (Not saying you need to! Just some ideas.)

I picked up the paint chip of revere pewter I am not happy too much gray. My floors are light gray. Then with the gray walls I think it is too cold of a look!!! Any color suggestions???

What about antique white & silver leaf as an accent wall?
The antique white is a nice clean color that will go with dark woods & grey but is also more color than white. The silver leaf has a green hue to it so it could really bring out all of the greens in the decor & plants that you have in the home.
If you don't like grey, don't do it!! It may be a year down the road but you will end up feeling trapped in your space and no one wants that in their home.

Ty I do feel that revere pewter will make my home not warm but cold. Cream sounds good. Trying to decide soon.
