Skybird suggested that we move this to another string so it doesn't get lost. I have access to my husband's escalade so volunteer to drive unless someone has a bigger vehicle. There will be one other lady riding with me from Elizabeth. You guys might have met Kelly at the fall swap.

That SUV can seat up to 7 but with very limited storage space. One or both of the components that make up the last row can be removed, significantly increasing storage. 4 or 5 would probably be about right to make sure we have room for all of our goodies!

We're still a month out so don't really need to get all of the details yet but if anyone has a good idea of where we should meet and how long we need to allow to get from Parker to the swap please respond. Also if we can firm up numbers to see if my vehicle will be big enough that would be good.

I hope we can work it out so we can ride together! Having company on the drive would be great!

So, if I can fit, count me in, and I'll pitch in for gas. Anywhere along C-470 works for me, between Park Meadows and Golden, whatever is the least out of the way for whomever is driving. If there's no room, hey that's okay, I can meet you anyways and we can load everything into milk crates or something in the back of my pickup so you can fit more people! and, I can fit one extra person in with me if we need to as well.

That sounds perfect, ZachS! I assume we'll meet in Parker around I-25 and hit C470 from there so just give me an exit number to meet and you'll be our 5th person. This is going to be so much more fun than driving it on my own! KvenKat and Amester, we'll just need to figure out exactly where to meet and a time so we'll be able to give ZachS a time that we'll be to him. Amester, do you still have my cell #? I still have yours, almost texted you a few weeks ago when I saw the bud on Cytherea. Only been waiting for that for 7 years or so! I'll pm my # to ZachS and KvenKat so that we'll have a way to contact each other.

Maybe we could meet somewhere around Park Meadows? The parking lot of the Sears Outlet (on Yosemite, north side of C-470) is usually empty.

IF you are planning on taking 470 all the way around to hook up with I 70 at Golden, we can meet at the Alberstson's parking lot right at the Kipling exit. If you hadn't planned on doing that, and just shooting up 25 from Lone Tree, I can meet you guys at Park Meadows, that's no problem for me at all!

I haven't looked at directions to get there yet, do you know which way would be best? I prefer 470 if that gets us where we're going without major backtracking.

My friend from Elizabeth just found out she'll have out of state visitors that weekend so had to back out so that leaves the 4 of us. I'll leave the back row of seats out completely so we should have more than enough room for plants and stuff! I'll check mapquest after getting the address and we can set up a meeting time then.

Not sure how long it'll take to drive from there yet. Got the email with the address yesterday but haven't looked up directions yet, away from home for the weekend. I'll look it up during the week or will take suggestions...think it looked like 2 hours from Elizabeth when I did a quick look with just listing Berthoud so I'd guess we should meet at around 0930 to get there around 1100. Does that sound right to you all? We can refine the time more if someone wants to look it up or I'll do it next Friday or over next weekend. Don't like doing lots of searches on a tablet, print's too small for my old eyes!
