help re backsplash for taj mahal quartzite or light granite counter

We are redoing our kitchen with cherry cabinets and leaning towards taj mahal quartzite or one of the lighter granites with gold in them for the counters. prefer stone backsplash, thinking about travertine or maybe jerusalem stone (limestone) backsplash. kitchen is relatively small but has decent light. also prefer minimal grout lines/seams. any advice would be appreciated

I love Taj Mahal Quartzite! Almost put it in my own home. I don't have pictures of the project, but we did have a client do limestone backsplash with it and it looked fantastic. I just installed Taj Mahal in my kitchen and bathrooms. My kitchen cabinets are white dove and bathrooms are espresso. Would love to see what backsplash you choose.

I almost chose a honed or tumbled 1"x2" travertine backsplash for our kitchen. I was looking for a slightly more modern feel even though the travertine looked stunning with our countertops.
