Drip tape storage idea?

After untangling my mess leftover from last year I have decided I need a better idea for storing my drip tape (with ends still on them) over the winter. Usually I just throw them in a pile out of the way. But knowing they should not be exposed to the sun constantly which will shorten it's life and the prospect of bugs getting in them and possibly causing blockage of the emitter part. Last year I wound them around a 5 gallon bucket like on a reel. Which is better but still not what I'm looking for. I have approx. 15-20 25' sections of drip tape that has the inlets and end caps on them. I won't be able to wind them all together (due to length and weight) which is OK. I'd considered buying some reels like you wind electrical extension cords on to but at $8-$10 each I think it would take quite a few (figuring 2-3 per reel) and cost more than I was wanting to devote to it. My better half suggested one of those rolling hose reel carts but $80 is higher yet and it takes floor space up. What do you do? Any ideas out there?
