I don't know what your zone is, but mine was a 6 until a few years ago, when it was changed to 7. I've found Colette to be extremely hardy. Last November we had an "Arctic blast" and temps plummeted to zero for about 3 days. Our fall had been warm and none of the roses were dormant, and some things were still blooming. This spring about 2/3 of my roses had severe cold damage (none died), and 1/3 had no damage whatsoever. Colette had no damage whatsoever, and she grows right by a sidewalk in a very unprotected area. So, in my opinion, she is probably tough down to at least zone 6. She also is very tough in dry heat, which we really have in summer. I love this rose. Diane

You betcha! She's largely cane hardy in my zone 5 garden, and is one of the better climbers for my zone, along with Lunar Mist, Nahema, Mme. Bovary, and the Canadians Quadra and Alexander Mackenzie. She has lovely big fat petalled blooms, and already has easily 8' of cane that will only get better with more growth this spring. Highly recommended for cold zones.

Well She is an offspring of prairie princess, and hence extremely cold Hardy

That is interesting to know (about her parentage) because she is a whole lot more cold hardy than other Romanticas I grow. They are all cold wimps. Diane
