My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Cooktop brands?

Hi! What brands are the cooktops (induction and gas)? Any further info on whether the induction has won out? Thanks!

    Both are Wolf. They love the induction and use it mostly. I've done a similar configuration with the gas section as a high-BTU wok burner. Great combo. I should post that too.

      I cook with a Wok, but love induction technology. Is there a 4 unit induction and 1 unit WOK gas burner that will fit a 36" cabinet?

      I have the Thermador Freedom cook top and absolutely love it. No issues to report so far.

      Unfortunately, the only dedicated wok burners that I know of are 15" wide, and the smallest 4 burner induction tops are 30". So you'd need a 39" base cab, but realistically you'd probably need 42", as depending on the units, there would be some separation between. You might look into Gaggenau and Wolf for modular units.

      If you're willing to use a flat-bottomed wok (I know - not a true wok) you could use it on the induction top.

      Absolutely brilliant! This is the perfect solution for my design dilemma. (I need 48" for my kitchen to look balanced, but also really want induction.)

      so is this unit separate units made into one? Or you buy it as a full unit?

      having a hard time finding a cooktop with both most have a oven attached and I don’t need that.
