Good luck with it. I sometimes wonder how some of the large trees manage to stay up when loaded with fruit. But a tree in a pot with fruit conjures up some strange visions.

Of course you can grow them in pots, but for how long depends on how fast it grows. If the reason for growing it in a pot is climate, you'll end up running into problems trying to move it and finding a place you can move it into for protection from the weather. Up until that time you shouldn't have any trouble.

Yes they can fruit in a pot. There are small jackfruit variety's who are good for that purpose.
