I think a Morris or Eames would tip the scales one way or another, they are both strong pieces. Eames is trending up, Morris down IMHO. Neither is going to go out of style in your lifetime but I'd rather live with an Eames than a Morris, it's cleaner and feels less library, and less museum.

Nothing wrong with adding modern to arts and craft. I wouldn't hesitate to add an Eames to any environment.

I have Arts & Crafts furniture and a few Stickley pieces. In my book, an Eames Lounger can go with anything.

as long as you love them, most things can go together. I like that look better than "I went to the store and got all at once" or the museum look, all in one style
