I've had a Mojack for several years, and it's handy. I don't actually crawl under my lawn tractors, but do lay on my side and reach under the deck to clean it or to remove/replace blades. Happy with it. There are similar jacks on the market now for less money.

I prefer car ramps to the Mojack... less expensive and IMO safer.

I just drop and remove the deck but on my machine it's designed for this to be done quickly/easily. However, I realize that on many of the less expensive lawn tractors deck removal is not designed to be quick & easy. In those cases this looks like a nice solution....looks like it lifts higher than ramps will.

Handiest tool I ever bought for my shop is the HF 900 lb rated hyd lift table. I bolt a grab hook to the end of the table and use a chain to lift front or rear of LT/GT or my wheeler. Also fastened some 3/8" plywood to the bottom of two milk crates so I can have both ends off the floor if needed. I've found many other good uses for it.

Yes they are safe and work much better than ramps on those tractors that you don't wish to pop the deck on. They lift ~ 2 feet off the ground and you have minimal obstruction below the for ease of scraping. If you still have your XL Toro, this makes below deck service much easier. I have the $89 Harbor Freight special my self.

No hydraulics on the Mojack - it's a screw jack.

Even the HF one Tom mentioned only uses hydraulics for lifting, then a metal pin is inserted to lock the height. I have one and they're very handy.
