Bluestar Owners,

How long did it take to receive your stove in a custom color?? I was told 3 months yesterday. Is it really this long?

Thanks!

We generally get our range out of the BS factory in 4 weeks. SO 3 months is way off......

My stainless steel range was supposed to take four weeks to deliver but it arrived within 2 weeks this March, which wasn't good because I live outside of Boston and didn't have enough time to shovel 2 feet of snow to the patio doors at the back of the house. (They could get it through my front door but not from my front hallway into my kitchen -- hence the trip to the back of the house.) I stored it in my garage for a couple of days until I dug out and got the delivery guys back.

My stainless range was ordered at the very end of March and just arrived at the end of last week so it was just under four weeks.

Ordered my black RNB 12/14/12, they told me 6-8 weeks because of holidays. It came in to the dealer on 1/8/13, a little over three weeks. Fortunately, the dealer kindly stored it until I was ready for it in February.

My BS 36" range top arrived at the dealer in 4 weeks. My appliance dealer stored for me for 3 months. They suggested I order it later, but I wanted available when I needed it.

Thanks for the replies! We have been displaced from our home during our remodel and were hoping to move back by July. Being without a stove certainly isn't ideal and I was just hoping that the color sample rep who told me 3 months was a little off.

Luckily we are in Texas and don't have to worry above shoveling snow! I'm glad to hear that everyone's delivery made it safely with minimal, if any problems.

So excited to be joining the BlueStar family!!!

I ordered my navy blue RNB and electric wall oven on 10/16/14. The RNB was delivered 12/22/14, but the dealer had had it for quite awhile and was waiting for the wall oven so they could deliver together. Wall oven just arrived at the end of March.

Question to those who ordered a colored BlueStar - did you order your hood in the same color?? I am panning on going with RAL 7013 ( Brown Grey) and don't know whether to go with a stainless hood or the same color of hood. I was planning on getting the Prizer Manhattan Hood and will be going with the 48 inch Platinum Series. I don't want the hood to take any attention away from my new baby! My backsplash will be a light color FWIW and very minimalist.

    Decisions decisions :/

Here is a picture of the RAL 7013. I am hoping I don't chicken out before I order it!

Nice color lentilpie! ...I had a few colors I was considering, but chickened out and got black...

    I say go for it!

    btw, my hood is stainless

My hood is the same color, but not as big as yours. Mine is only a 30" (range and hood). RAL5011 - steel blue. I wanted it to stand out from the cabinets. Stainless is not an option for me, so the hood would've been white or matched the stove (and wall oven - all are RAL5011). My hood is Vent A Hood, but they use the same RAL colors.
    Range & hood:

With wall oven (they really are navy blue, not black - hard to tell in pictures):

@cookncarpenter - I may be joining you :( Today we went to look at floor tile and I am afraid I may be faltering. I may be going with black myself. I am sure yours is beautiful nonetheless!

@Debbi - Gorgeous kitchen and lovely color! I am drooling over your wall oven! I could only wish I had the space for one!!

Thanks you two for your responses!

Go for the color lenti! Thanks for the compliment. The wall oven is what formerly was my pantry, so I don't have a pantry anymore.
