Is painting your trim an option at all?

I am trying to avoid painting all the trim and doors due to the extra work load but I have thought about it thanks.

I'm just thinking that if you don't want your trim to match the floor, but you're wanting to go with grey walls it might start to look a little "color blocked". I know it's a ton of work, (I've done it many times myself) but in the long run you'll probably be much happier. Here's some examples:

Those are beautiful rooms! Do i need to paint the windows and the trim around them too? What about the inside doors?

Just as you see in the pictures, consistency is key. So yes, paint your window sills, window trim, inside doors and door trim. I know it's a lot of work, but it's going to make such a difference and give you the result you're looking for. Did you like the contrasting grey trim in the second picture? What are you doing around the fireplace?

I really like the white trim in the first picture. I am planning on adding stone on the fireplace and a mantel.
