Does this kitchen clash with the style of the main living area?

I love the kitchen, but it has warmer tones, in the cream of the upper cabinets, and the flooring. Then you go to the dining area and living area, which are very cool tones with all the grey. I like them...but I think that they do clash a little.

Perhaps a warmer color on the dining and living area walls would tie them together better, and some use of the turquoise in the kitchen.

No- looks like a magazine photo! The only thing the kitchen might be lacking, if one was super-picky, is that it doesn't have any of the whimsical color touches in it that the dining and living spaces do. Easily (and inexpensively) remedied with some funky counter accessories.

Agree....it just needs some pops of color. Maybe a turquoise teakettle and a turquoise bowl for fruit.

I think it's just some of the decor that's more traditional in the kitchen (clock) where as the other spaces are more contemporary. The kitchen itself looks nice. You could consider adding a floor runner in a more contemporary pattern and add your color that way.

The clock looks like the only thing out of place to me...

For me the dinning room table, is too lite for that space, the kitchen is very heavy, stone fireplace heavy , the table is not substantial enough to carry that space. Maybe a rug would help.
