a rake or blower is the answer to your question. ground cover won't keep the leaves from falling. either cut the trees out of your yard causing the issue or realize you will have to deal with fallen leaves once every year. I'm not being smart...dealing with leaves is just a part of Fall/Winter. it is what it is

I'm aware that I will still have to clean the leaves out of the area. I was asking for a type of ground cover that would make it easier to clean. Since rock and types of evergreen make it hard to clean the leaves with a blower or rake. Thank you though

Grass is the easiest, but have to be diligent or the wet leaves smother the grass... best advice, a riding mower with a mulching blade and bagger.....
