joieblanc...did you end up removing the sheet vinyl? if so, why and was it easy? How are you liking the Mannington?

How old is the final flooring you're considering removing? We are going over ours as it's probably midcentury and likely held down with asbestos.

We came into a house with cheap white ceramic tile flooring. Took tons of hard labor-including a floor "jackhammer" to remove it! Replaced with Armstrong cushioned sheet vinyl; softer, easier on bodies especially. At 75 I can't imagine what a fall onto hard tile could break!

Any feedback on the Mannington Adura Tile? I am trying to decide if it is good choice for a bathroom floor. Also considering Alterna Regency Essence.

I purchased LVT and Adura Grout is separating from tile (everywhere). Had local company where purchased and installed come out and he checked moisture in house and it passed and after weeks said it was probably the house settling! Put in claim to Mannington and they say their grout was not covered under warranty and there couldn't be anything wrong with grout because it cimes in a batch and they haven't had anyone else with problems! I see on web all kind of comments about this problem. They say Im at fault because probably left too much water on floor when cleaning. They are worthless! Do not buy this product!

I purchased Armstrong Alterna in a Snow White, had it installed in a walk-in closet with NO grout (as they say you can butt it up against each other), but was not happy with seeing all the lines. Flooring store said it was because it was such a light color the lines are going to show, yet there were many areas of just plain gaps (tho' apparently they are acceptable - to the mfg. not me!) Now I'm ready to install this same LVT in a bathroom and decided I should have it grouted to eliminate the lines. Problem is Armstrong doesn't make a white grout to match the white tile. They said I could use an acrylic grout, but I'm getting a different answer from every flooring place/person I talk to. And there's Epoxy grout that is also non-porous like the acrylic, but some say it's hard to work with. Mapei makes one in Avalanche which is the closest to white I've seen; it's called Kerapoxy CQ.

Anyone have any experience with these various grouts on LVT? Need to know quick as I'd already torn apart the bathroom when they told me the Armstrong grout wasn't white. Thanks in advance

I have recently used neobo LVT after years of having amtico. It is exactly the same in terms of quality and when fitted by my fitter I couldn't tell the difference.

I understand Cortech is the best for water resistance and other things. Any thoughts?
