Hi lisalyon, Ikea does have a similar, less expensive pendant, but our design is fuller with more closely overlapping petals, includes a white ceiling canopy for hard-wiring (Ikea's is a plug-in style), and is considerably larger (19 1/2" wide vs. 14" 1/4"wide). The choice comes down to size requirements, personal, preference, and budget. Hope this information helps!

I have 2 from IKEA and I retrofitted them to be hardwired and I LOVE them! I love that they mimic your version and there is over $$150 difference. Yes, yours has more petals and is 1 1/2" larger in diameter, but it is a fabulous copy for those on a budget.

On the site the cost is $199. What gives?
